1995 Masters Crystal - from
Masters Champion Craig Stadler
Most Masters
Tournament collectors or patrons are aware of the Stubben crystal given as
awards for various achievements at the Masters Tournament. There are 4 such
awards, this one being a crystal goblet awarded for recording an eagle during
the Masters. The other awards are for Double Eagle, Hole-In-One and for
shooting the Low Round of each day of the tournament. What most collectors do
not realize is that the recipient's name, the date of the achievement, and the
hole where the Eagle was recorded are also etched onto the award. The awards on
display during the Masters Tournament and pictured in the Masters program simply
contain an etching of the Masters logo and the name of the award.
This amazing
Stubben Crystal is from the 1995 Masters Tournament. We believe that this is
only the second time a piece of Masters Crystal has been offered publicly (See
Lot #1 in our Summer 2007 Auction for the first), and this is the only such
piece to come from a former Masters Champion - Craig Stadler. This
beautiful piece is in mint condition.
