Presented here is a truly significant golf flag - a used flag from Phil
Mickelson's victory at the 1990 U.S. Amateur. Long before he became a
popular PGA Tour star and Major Champion, Phil Mickelson was an up-and-comer at
Arizona State University. This flag was used during the 1990 U.S. Amateur,
which was held at Cherry Hills. Amazingly, this flag comes with a
hand-written letter from a caddie at the 1990 U.S. Amateur, as well as the
caddie's credentials from that historic week. This flag has also been
featured on the golf flag website
