Nowadays, tell any sports fan that you have a "badge" to next year's tournament
and they will know exactly what you're talking about - the Masters. With
virtually every other sporting event, you need a ticket. Not so with the
Masters. Beginning in 1961, the Masters did away with tickets and instead sold
series badges to patrons of the tournament. Ever since then, Masters badges
have been sought after not only before and during the tournament, but also after
the tournament as collectibles.
Masters
badges are, without a doubt, the most sought after piece of golf memorabilia in
the United States. Presented here is the rare opportunity to obtain a
