1939 U.S. Open Qualifier's Badge

        The U.S. Open has long prided itself on being open to all comers; bring your golf game, and you too can play in our country's championship.  This was true in the beginning, and remains true today.  Presented here is an actual qualifier's badge from the 1939 U.S. Open. Sectional Qualifying - one of the first such badges that we have ever sold.  This pin is in great condition.  The legendary Byron Nelson went on to win the 1939 U.S. Open at the Philadelphia Country Club.
