Presented here is an actual contestant's badge from the 1933 US Open. One
badge is made for every contestant at each year's US Open. This badge is
one of the 100 or so contestant's badges that were produced for the competitors
in the 1933 US Open, and the first such badge that we have sold from this 100+
year old tournament. Also of note is that the US Open this year was won by Johnny Goodman, the last amateur to win the Open and one of only 5 amateurs to ever win.
