Presented here is what must be the finest condition Final Round 1938 US Open ticket in
existence (the final round was 36 holes on Saturday). This near-mint, untorn (un-used?) 1938 US Open ticket
was recently discovered by our consignor inside his 1938 US Open Program (also
available in this auction). Apparently it was perfectly preserved inside
the pages of that program for several decades. The picture of this
incredible badge speaks for itself. Ralph Guldahl won the 1939 US Open,
which was held at Cherry Hills Country Club.
